Turkeys

Our local, highest quality Free-Range Turkeys are traditionally reared in Tenterden, Kent. The slow-growing breed of birds roam freely in paddocks and are fed natural cereal-based diets completely free from antibiotics and growth promoters, so you know you’re getting the best quality local turkey. You are able to choose from the traditional gamier tasting “Bronze” bird or the “White” bird with a higher ratio of white meat compared to brown. You will also be provided with giblets, a “pop-up” thermometer/gauge and cooking guide.

We can also supply local Free-range goose, duck and three-bird roasts. As well as plenty of game options including pheasant, partridge and venison.

Beef and Lamb

Our Beef & Lamb comes directly from our own farm in the neighbouring village of Kingsdown, which is then produced and prepared by our Artisan Butchers in our own private, licensed abattoir. The animals do not leave a 4-5 mile radius during their lives, grazing the surrounding countryside. It truly is from farm to fork at Doughty’s.

Our hand-prepared, traditional sausages are made using natural skins and pork selected only from the most suitable, quality cuts of meat.

We aim to only work with other producers who do things the right way, and are lucky enough to have some of the best produce in the country right here on our door step including milk, cheese, vegetables, fruit, bakery goods, cakes and condiments.
